Paul Gibson’s Hull and East Yorkshire History

River Hull – 1994

Whilst studying for my City & Guilds photography qualifications, one of the modules I chose was 'photo essay'. I based part of my work on the notes to a local history walk, led by a man who has been my good friend ever since - Chris Ketchell. These photographs illustrate a journey south from the Stoneferry bridges all the way to the River Humber, taking in the many bridges along a route that Chris first called the 'Seven Bridges Walk'.
